I got a question
I got a question
I got coilovers on stock struts and the struts are dead. I keep hearing about this tein SS kit but i just want to know how low it goes. I got 205\17\40 and i want to skanit about 3.5. And I also want to know other then TEin SS, what ohter options I have. I definetly want coilovers though, and I want to do this right and clean.

im guessing you want true (full) coilovers. the teins only give about a 2" drop. i have B+G's and they give about a 3" drop. with your size rims and tires, you should be fine with a 2.25"-2.5" drop. that drop will take out all of your tire gap, while the teins might leave you with like a pinkey gap

Your other options are B&G's, Tein Flex, and JIC. Flex and JIC i believe you have to get for the RSX and do some modifications to get them to fit. Progress, H&R, and a few other companies are in R & D still. Tein SS won't lower enough for you.
