ok.. put ur hands on your seat and push urself up.. and hang.. notice ur shoulders leaning inward.. vs relaxed... same thing with cars... since we dont have a brace there... the top of our struts tend to lean in towards the engine.... so by lifting the front, it relieves that tendancy enuff to install teh bar
ok i understand you there. but would it be ok to just leave the strut where it is. we didnt have to take any drastic measures to bend it, we just bent it a little. seems to fit rather snug.

It's probably fine.
Loosening all the strut bolts and jacking the car up will let the strut mount shift into the mounting holes of the strut bar. It says to do that in the Neuspeed strut bar instructions, it just dosn't go into enough detail.
