What kind of spring to use with Koni's?

My setup right now is Koni's struts with Progress springs, my car looks great but the ride is aweful. Putting on 17" with 205/40/17 just f**ked up my ride even more. Putting on the koni's did help some but not as much as I thought it would. My car still jumps, when going over a bump, while my friends 96 Civic with Tokico blues and Eibach goes over it smooth. I am thinking of getting new springs, Maybe Eibach Pro Kit, I dont care if it is really low I am just looking for less fender gap than stock. Has anyone had a Koni and Progress combo and swiched, and had there ride quality improve?

dont get the prokit!! it is the opposite of low! it hardly gives a drop, so it's pretty much like buying stock springs. i've heard good things about the eibach sportlines, neuspeed, goldlines, and the h&r's. if you dont wana get new springs, i suggest you wait for the tokicos to come out for our car. they're a full replacement for shocks, unlike the konis which are only inserts.

The prokit won't give you much of a drop at all. What is wrong with the progress springs?? Neuspeed sportline springs are good, but if you want to drop a little lower then neuspeed race are good too. I, personally, do not like the konis, but if you have them already, Neuspeed springs are good. HR and Eibach are good, but eibach can be over priced sometimes.

Get Neuspeed sport or race, it's meant to work w/Koni sport shocks.
I'm not to crazy about Progress springs. They had an article about their
springs being made to work w/stock shocks in SS mag. We all know lowered
springs need to go w/performance shocks.

My friend had Neuspeed Race w/koni sport and 18's and that thing rode smooth,
even over bumps on the highway. go figure.......

I have Koni and Ground Control. It rides ok but its still a lil bouncy. I have even tried every setting on the Konis. My friend had Tokicos on his car with some arospeed coilovers and it rode a lot better than mine. His Tokicos werent even adjustable and his car was slammed 3 inches. I think the Tokicos will give u a better ride.

ok the Eibach pro kit only lowers your car about one and a quarter inches but however it offers the best ride of all the springs out, and its looks fine with 18" wheels and 215/40 tires.
