Do I need to get springs if.....
I was planning on getting some rims for my civic. Is it essential to lower my car right away or can I set it off for a while? How will the car look without lowering it with some rims on there? Anyone have any suggestions?

i think it depends on the size rims and tire profile u are getting. I just got 18s with 215/40/18 tires and im actually going to get the drop either today or tomorrow. But i have to say it still looks good the way it is now. Especially with the 40 series tires cause the gap is some what less cause the higher profile. My opinion is that if u are getting rims/tires where the overall diameter is equal to stock than it wont look like a 4x4... But if u r getting something like 205/40/17 then u will have a huge gap and it wont look great... But still my opinion is i think u will enjoy having rims more, than just a drop...
In My Opinion, I would drop it first. I think a car looks better dropped with stock rims, than stock height with new rims. Around my house anyways, it seems like a lot of girls cruise around with a stock height car and rims, so IMO, I think it looks kinda like a chick car that way.

I have rims on my car UNdropped right now, my friend bags on me that my car isn't dropped.......... but I see her look of envy in her eyes. Her car is dropped but NO rims. ahahahahaha She wishes she was me. I think my car is like fvcking 100 X better than hers... and it is.
Duh lowering ur car is cheaper... but.. it really depends on u.
