BEST SHOCKS FOR BEST PRICE?
hey guy's, i have these r1 coilover's that i bought off ebay, don't know good they are, but i'm sure they can't suck that bad... so anyways, i need to get some good shock's for them, and i'm not going to buy some koni yellow's that will cost me $1000 cnd here at the shop where i usually get my stuff done at, what else is a good brand that i should get and for a decent price, and i have been having trouble finding a good camber kit for decent pricing too, if anyone could help me out with these problem's that would be great, thx in advance.

konis dont cost 1000 theyre more around 500 or cheaper. i dont know any other brand of shocks for our car. just wait for the tokicos to come out. as for your r1's, i heard they're not that great. you should just save up for full coilovers.

Well he did say $1000 CND, which i think roughly translates into about $550 here. Yeah they are expensive and No, I don't think Konis are worth it. BUT, right now they are the only shocks out. R1's I heard aren't that great. so if you want shocks to go with your coilovers you have to get Koni's or wait until KYB or tokico make some, hopefully by the end of the year! As for camber kits, I heard SPC makes the best. You can get that from Rob at tornactive.

you bought sleeved coilovers. Full coilovers are sort of like sleeved coilover except they have a shock integrated with the system. Therefore, spending $1000 USD on a set of full coilovers will allow you to swap the whole shock/strut/spring out. Sleeved coilovers only replace the spring with a movable one, and if you lower enough, you will need shock eventually. Full coilovers are expensive but are worth the money.
Well you know about the koni's. other companies that make performance shocks are KYB and Tokico. They say they will have shocks by the end of the year. SPC are good camber kits. Search at www.tornactive.com. Rob is a member of the site, SN tornactive. Use the search button at the top to find more answers. There is ALOT of information on this site!

HR coilovers aren't even list on their site with a price yet, but the cup kit is, so how have the coilovers been out for 4 months??

Yeah I know that, but there is no price listed on their website and therefore should not be released yet. I mean even the cup kit has a price and isn't out yet, so how are the coilovers out with no price??
