well, that's not true for everyone. i have no idea why, but i had to do some jacking up to get mine to fit. i mean, i expected that, cuz it's in the instructions, so it's no big deal......but don't be surprised if it won't go on perfectly

Weaponx12o is on a distinguished road
it fit mine fine, you just have to slightly bend it a bit to fit and push down all the way to make sure it is on properly

On 5 spd cars, you may have to move the clutch resevoir to a location lower. There is a bolt already there you can use. Easy to do, just a little awkward and tight in there. Some people just bent the bracket, I didn't like that idea.
Some cars may need to be lifted on 1 side (neuspeed states which side) for the bar to fit. I had no problem.
I had one on my '94 civic and on my em2. Would not choose any other brand!!
Hope this clears it up!!

if its a 2001 civic, I think it the reservoir has to be moved. if its a 2002 or higher, like me, you dont have to move "adjust" the reservoir, just bend it out of the way a lil.

mine is a 2001 and i just moved it out of the way. I didn't have to jack up my car, though some other did. Mine fit right in.

Bingo... thats exactly what the directions say. You might have to jack the car slightly to get the bar to drop on the bolts, but just enough to get the wheels off the ground. It shouldn't take more than 20 minutes to do it... and make sure you torque the bolts down to 33... don't hand tighten them unless you're sure you can get to 33 or more. I hand did them and thought it was tight enough, and then torqued it another 10 lbs before I hit 33... and it makes a difference.
