Is too much??
So I am planning on buying NEUSPEED sports and INGALLS camber kits I called a place to ask how much installation would be and they said about 380 for installation and an allignment. Does this seem right? I also just got some EXCEL TZ-7 17X7's and the wheel gap is pretty big and I don't know if an 1 1/2" drop will be enough? I don't want to go too low that I scraping everything but I don't want to spend all this money and still have a 2" wheel gap. Is a 2" drop too much? If know whats a good lowering spring that will drop me 2".

does the $380 include the springs and camber kits? You can install them yourself or with some friends. It should't be that hard. I would NOT pay $380 for installation and an alignment.

I got the exact same set up: Neuspeed Sports + Ingalls Rear Camber. I got the springs for $135 on Ebay. Paid $195 for install. (OUCH!) Got the Rear Camber on Shox.com paid $130. Paid $55 for install. That's $515 for everything w/o the alignment (add $40). So if he's charging $380 for EVERYTHING, that's not bad. But just for the install, take it somewhere else or do what Robb said and DIY, if you can. That wasn't really an option for me. As for the drop, the Neuspeeds will drop you 1.75 not 1.5. It's a nice mild drop. No scraping, if you're careful. And there won't be any 2" wheel gap.

Rep Power: 0 install the springs and camber kit yourself. its not hard, and you'll find plenty of DIYs on this site on them. just go to the shop to get the camber aligned. as for your drop, what size tires do you have? if it's 215/45 then you should be fine with a 1.5" drop. if you have 205/40, then you'll have some gap

Rep Power: 0 oh, since you're from the bay, me and some other members on this site will help you install it. we live down in san jo, where in the bay are you in? i'll be getting a SPC camber kit soon, maybe we'll install it at the same day
Most shops charge around $60 an hour for labor....380 lol....that is hardly a full days work for a skilled professional...maybe 3 hours TOPS for the install, 1 hour for the alignment.....
