ok, in theory will this work:
I have a 1.75" drop already with goldlines. If I install my Tein's and drop them to 1.75", will I need an alignment? I already have my camber kit dialed in properly for that drop...just curious if I would really need to go get another alignment?

yeah I'd like to know to, I've looked all over the Net & the cheapest price I could find was $1150 for the SS & i don't think shipping was included. that may be a little to high for me I might just go with the Basic for $900. If anyone knows where I can get a good price on either the SS or the Basic, let me know please. thanks.

Able to get tein ss for 850
Since this topic is about Tein I had a really quick question about the Tein S-Tech Springs. When they're installed do they sometimes make creaking noises like they're settling? It only happens with the back 2 springs an it's only on turns I hear them. Would some grease up there solve the problem...if anyone knows or has these springs please let me know.

Teins have a wider range of selectable types of full coilover systems. JIC-Magic has few... and in fact, none for our cars. Just the RSX and soon the Civic Si. They will fit if you chop off some of the tie rod and use tie rod ends from the RSX IF you're willing to do that.
As for Teins Vs. JIC. One reason why I like JIC more is that Teins are prone to rusting.
Zeil Motorsports told us that they will fit because JIC modified them to fit the 7th gen civic. I will let everyone know I ordered them last Monday so they should be in tomorrow. If they don't fit I send them back and get B+G's really really really cheap!
Who needs a wide range of systems when you can get the FLT-A2.

Oh, and if you're installing them yourself, I'd like to know how they work and some alignment specs.
