I'm completely clueless when it comes to lowering my car...here's what I got, and here's what I want to do. Right now, tires/suspension wise: i have 17s and front/rear struts. My stock suspension has about 44k on it, so it's kinda up there. I want to lower my car 1.4" to 1.75 (MAX) but also not want to run into any problems, ie blown shocks. What would you guys recommend me getting? Think budget too! LOL I guess what I want is springs, camber kit (if i need it, seeing how if i DONT Get it, i'll have tire probs), and shocks (if I need it). I'll be willing to sacrafice a little bit of a rough ride, but smoothness is always nice too. Check out my ride...you could suggest how much I should lower it:www.cardomain.com/id/greennvicious
Thanks!

hey nice ride bro. the best 1.5-1.75 drop for the money wouldbe goldlines. you shoulnd't need a front camber...maybe a rear. you won;t rub either. as far as shocks goes...your only choice right now are the konis. but with just a 1.5 1.75 drop i wouldn't worry about them too much.
hey two questions for you... how'd you get the nice flush HeadUnit install? whaja use as the trim peice? ALSO...what TAILS do you have? they look pretty nice. thanks

goldlines are way lower than 1.75" They drop 2" after they settle. Please read the Suspension FAQ for more information.
There are no shocks out besides the konis. If you are on a budget then lowering may not be in the cards right now. Konis are $500 and springs are $100-150, camber kits are $150, and alignment probably around $60. The HR cup kit, which will lower 2" in the front 1.75" rear, will be out soon. That is a match set of springs and shocks. There is also true coilovers but those will cost you around $1k.
Reyito, he has the red HALO tails. A few members have them, I know Slikor does too.

I'll sell you my set of neuspeed sports for $100 shipped. I had them on for a week. I wanted to get a stiffer spring. Pm me if you want them.

how come most springs lower the car more in the front than they do in the back (like 1.75F and 1.5R)...our cars are already lower in the front than they are in the back? why are the springs like that? will it make it look retarted?

It depends on what you think looks retarted. There are some springs that some people just can't deal with because of that. If you want more of a even look, then get coilovers.
