Choosing a Sway Bar Combo & Alignment ?
I know this is a common thread and the easy answer would be the Progress Front and Rear...anyways...
I just lowered my car with Tein SSs...when the car hasn't been driven for awhile, my front springs "chirp" a little when I start going...they also "chirp" a little when I'm taking some harder turns....this is obviously due to the stress being put onto them...so as I figured, I'm going to have to get sway bars...
I don't really want to drop $500 into sway bars and I'm not going to get the Progress kit unless I upgrade the rear brushings.
I would LIKE to go with the 19MM RSX sway bar in the rear, but what do I match it up with in the front?
Opinions wanted....and one last question...
I don't think this would matter at all but...should I get my alignment done after I install my sway bars? Thinking about it, I dont think it should matter...but I just want to make sure..

I think the progress bar would be the best choice for the front sway bar. I think Eibach makes a front sway bar that is the same size but I am not sure if you can buy it without buying the pair. The eibach rear sway bar is 19mm tho. Suspension techniques also a pair of sway bars. And so does Hotchkis. I don't think you need to get an alignment after you install your sway bars. Also look into getting the tanabe or neuspeed front under braces. that will help with some wheel hop anc chirpping.

It might increase understeer having a thicker bar up front but it shouldn't do anything else. a 19mm rear with a 27 front should be fine. I think for better performance the 22mm rear would be better and that is why progress made them. I currently have a 19mm rear and plan on getting a bigger front one. I would like the 22 rear but with the endlink complications and the fact that the TCS won't fit with it, i don't want to.

Remember that the front NEEDS a thicker bar since there's more weight in front. A perfectly balanced sway bar combination is something like what Progress offers. AKA 27mm front, 22mm rear. Or... You could go with 25.7mm front (stock, 1"), and 19mm rear. Something like the RSX has. That's well balanced too. With my setup I have a little more oversteer than I would like; although the car is basically neutral during certain types of cernering.
