Unhappy Stock springs problems

hey guys/gals,hope i can find help here as i am about to go stir crazy.I had replaced my lowering springs with the OEM front springs and i had triple checked that i had followed all the proceedures correctly.my first problem is the top of the springs and the upper spring seat rotates in an erratic/jerky motion ,it will make a popping sound as it rotates, it happens with the car on jackstands or on the road when the wheels are turning, only place i havent check thoroughly is the mounting bearing which is between the upper spring seat and the mounting base ( the plate with 3 threaded studs),all the contact area had been greased. My second problem which could be contributed directly from the first one, after i take a L/R turn, the steering wheel will have a hard time to return to the original spot, sometime i have to force it to avoid a accident and the car will pull to the side towards whichever turn i just made. Hope someone can help, thanz for reading.

there is definitely a problem with your bearing ring, or lack thereof. that's the only thing that would cause that to happen.

Did you check to see if the top spring perch is bolted down tightly (the nut between the three bolts.) I had one loose at it seem that there was alot of noise and I tightened it down. no more noise. If that isn't it check what the others were saying.

Link to get new bearing # 9 in photo: $ 13.30
