From what I have gathered so far... they all serve the same basic purpose. They hold together and stiffen up the chasis. The major difference (obvious) is the location of the bar. As they affect different areas of the car. Thats all the general info I can give you... try searching other sources, I read a good article in Super Street about suspension and chasis related parts... I hope this helps.

i'm pretty sure #'s 1 and 3 are the same thing and #2 and 7 is the same. #5 and 6 is also the same. and #4 is different. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

if you want "max" handling, get an upper front strut bar, front and rear sway bars, and upper rear strut bar. the lower rear strut bar doesn't do much, it's pretty much for show.

1. Front lower tie bar and the Front X bar are the same part, the only reason they call it an X bar is because of the design that Neuspeed uses. Ther is no such thing as a front lower strut bar. A strut bar, is the bar that attaches to the STRUT TOWERS. which in lamans terms is where the top of the Struts bolt in to the car.

2. Rear lower tie bar. this part was created because on older gen civics with Highly modified suspenson tended to Rip the Lower mount of the rear control arm out of the car. so They created the tie bar to reinforce the mounting, This as far as I know has not happened to our cars yet, so there may not be a need for it, but why take the chance. As with a Lower strut bar, that dosn't exzist, See #1

3.Anti-Sway bars /Anti-roll bars/ sway bars/ rollbars ect ect ect....
these are the same parts. and Yes cars can and do have a front and rear Anti-roll bar.

Yup, the Tie bar is a chassis reinforcment and a Anti-sway bar is a suspension mod like geting springs.

An X brace can also be called a U brace. They do the same thing.
these are all examples. They don't go on the 7thgen, but here are the pics.

Sway bars are different in that they help keep the wheels on the ground on hard turns. Compared with stiffening the body of the car which is what tie and strut bars do.

No it just means use the search button if you can and don't ask repetitive questions. This question just seemed a bit hairy since you got all the names mixed up
