Teins Installed - pics

Well the weather here was forgiving enough to allow me to install my TeinSS coilovers and SPC camber kit. I took a two pics and forgive the quality ill have better once coming soon after the wash and detail. The ride is awesom and it feels much more responsive, it looks a lot better now and im very pleased with the overall feel, price and comfort of this system.

Looks great. How's the spring rate. Comfortable? Bouncy? Stiff?

The spring rate is comfrtable. I set the dampers pretty stiff. Only complaint if you set them stiff you get a little rattle over heavy bumps but on a freeway and regular city driving they feel great. Stll adjusting the dampers till i get them where i like them.

thE Teins can go a little lower but i didnt want to go too low because of my area. They can go about 2ins from stock is the recommneded hieght adjustment which is exac tally what i wanted. I didnt want it too low since its a daily driver and im on my way to get a kit.

Try going to newer Alignment shops. Older alignment machines are the ones wehre you have to drive up a ramp, which is not lower friendly. Around Washington state I just went to a local tire/alignment shop that just opened and they had the ones where the workers had room under to walk freely and lift the car up 1" or so if they wanted to.

i got mine for 1100 at a local shop. Best i could find was 1050 from some place with no internet site i figured pay the extra 50 for a local shop that way if i have any trouble i can go straight to them. AS far as HIN im stilling working on trying to get all the local 7thgens going but well see how it goes. The ride seems to be holding up great still feels smooth as ever and the shocks are riding great as well.

i got the camber kit at www.tornactive.com for 159, i recommend SPC they are really a great setup. As far as the install i couldnt tell you due to the fact that i had several things done at the same time and i have a sponsership with my Dealership that allows me mad discounts on installs (i still do the work but in thier garage and keep all warranties)
