do i absolutely need?

a torque wrench when installing a neuspeed front upper strut bar and x brace. or can i just tighen it tight by hand....if so how much does it cost to rent a torque wrench at like a hardware store thanks, and how much is it new, all i need is a crappy one lol to get the job done

I would definately get one for the X brace. I wouldn't gamble with the 76 ft-lbs or so that the Xbrace needs to be cranked on there with. So you might as well get one. The beam style wrenches go for about 25 and the clicky ones are about 90. I don't know how much it costs to rent one, check with autozone.

thanks....and for those of you who installed the x brace without lifting up the car, how did u manage to get under the car? did u jsut stick ur hand under and loosen the bolts, then install then tighen them back? thanks

No way in hell will you get that on with out raising the car. You probably need to get the weight off the suspension, and you're gonna want to be under the car to position it. Plus, your wheels are going to be in the way.
