bumpstops cut?

i installed ground-control coilovers and they cut my bumpstop in the back the way the instructions say so...now i wanna put back my orginal suspension cuz i don't like the ride and the roads in mtl suck... i wanna know if i can put back my orginal suspension since my bumpstop is cut a bit? and what will happen

Your shock rod will get more travel. And it will blow more easily. But still not as fast as putting lowering springs in I hope Shouldn't be a problem wtih stock springs.

When you cut the bump stops and you say the shocks get mroe travel. What's the advantage if the shocks get more travel?

not a whole lot because you shouldnt be bottoming out with a stock suspension to begin with. I had my car stock height for about 6 months and I dont remember ever bottoming out with them so yeah whether they're cut or not, it shouldnt be an issue

my car bottoms out with stock suspension (blown). bottoms out so much my bump stops were torn out and right now i have none.

new bump stops can be purchased for like $10-15 for aftermarket ones and they usually come with a dust boot
