What are the best coil overs

I have a problem? I have being searching the internet for a while and the only coils overs that I have found for my 7th gen civic is the teins. Are there any other brands besides the teins that i should look into? Also, is it best to get a body kit before lowering, or is it better to lower then get a body kit

If you want coilovers that compare to Tien, try JIC-Magic.

I'd say lower your car first but if you wanna avoid scraping, might be wise to get the kit first so you can get an idea of how low you want to go. But it's not like you can't raise the car up.

i dont believe that JIC has released for us yet
b+g has good reviews, and the h&r cup kit will be coming out, end april begin of summer
also teins are highly recommended you should vist the web sites
and i believe the RSX compatibles will work for out cars
Can adjust the height on some of the true coilovers so you could get a body kit then adjust the height to what you want, that is a good way to go

You just contradicted yourself.

JIC-Magic for RSX will fit on our cars... and you had to have known it was on an RSX.

I don't... well, at least not for the SS. The SS doesn't go low enough and as for the Flex, I have to ask ASWZero about that one.

The ride is nice, yes.

It drops as low as you want in the front and as for the rear, that is another story. You can modify it so it goes to about a 3.25 in drop, but when you use everything that came in the kit, the rear drops only 1.50 in.

Tiends have good quality but not as low as bg and I dont know if they are good or bad for the bg but all I know is that tien is the best, if your looking for those just drop father and have little less quality go with bg, plus tien has green black scheme to it and looks tight

I heard JIC for the best setup, then Tein Flex, B & G or Tein SS. If you want to go low then B & G, if not Tein's will do, but they are the same price anyway. I believe H & R and Progress will be making coilover kits for our cars. i don't know about those tho.

teins can go low. i believe they go up to like 3" or so.. its just it depends on the springs used.. they have springs that are 1" lower.
