Hope that custom turbo you are planning on making is going well.
According to Tein they don't make the Flex model for our cars unless you got the SI. I asked them cause I wanted to get the flex with the EDFC in car dampering control unit If anyone has actually put the a set of Flex in the Civic with the dampering control unit please tell.
Below is a copy of an email reply I had gotten regarding the Tien Flex with EDFC for a 2002 Civic LX Sedan.
We do have plans in making the Flex dampers for the 2002 Civic but as of
right now and we don't have a release day yet on that particular product.
Please check back on our website for the latest updates and releases.

Yeah, sorry. Maybe I should have mentioned that I'm referring to the Tein Flex for the RSX. It fits our cars. ASWzero has it on his. The only thing that's weird is that the hood had to be modified to accept the little shock adjuster. Plus the alignment is kinda hard to get right.
Anyway, thanks for remembering my little turbo project.
Trajedy happened though. I have 0 money. Bleh. I'll need to buy new wheels and tires. One of the spokes on my rims cracked! I'll post a thread about it tomorrow. I'm thinking of getting 16's. That way there will be more rubber to protect me from the potholes and what not.

camber plates are only used on McPherson strut type suspension.
our cars only have Mcpherson struts on the front, the rear would use an adjustible control arm for camber adjustment.

nope tein ss doesnt come with upper pillowball mounts, just the flex... otherwise what would be the difference between ss and flex besides the adjustable spring rate

Camber plates are for Macpherson sturts, but they do have pillowball mounts. The shocks rest on a (pillow) heavy duty bearing that allows it to absorb some of the shock from the road. It takes away stess from the mounts and allows movement for double trailing arms(upper and lower control arm) that we have in the rear. Since one arm is longer than the other the shock assembly does not travel in on a constant vector in relation to the car. The vector varies between 0 and 3 degress. All in all, its less stress for the coilover.
