springs or coilovers??

both are good - just dont get some cheap a** lowering springs from Ebay, u will be fine. expect to have rougher ride

Well i was always told coilovers are stiffer, so expect a stiffer ride with those, you will get non adjustable drop with lowering springs thats the only bad side but the ride is better...I suggest lowering springs...Goldline/H&R/Eibach/etc.. If coilovers i suggest skunk2/GroundControl/etc...

get goldlines very nice ride , nice drop
i have tein ss installed on my car.
its pretty expensive but i dont have to worry about blowing shocks,
rides really nice, and i can also adjust ride height,
i think def. worth 1000.

Being stuck with the same drop sucks IMO If you are like me and like to be able to tweek your ride hieght ect. Go with the ground controls. Its OK for the short term to stay with stock shocks, but expect to at least blow your rear shocks and start bouncin back there. Same deal on springs. You must get better shocks Koni s are the only ones available right now. I love my set up but your opinion may differ. If you can... get a ride in cars with different set ups and find out which one you like. But DO NOT BUY THAT CHEAP **** ON E BAY ect.

coilovers give the flexability of height adjustment but the trade off is it's a harsher ride due to the stiffer springs. but they do allow a greater drop than springs.
lowering springs give a more comfortable ride compared to coilovers but without the adjustability.
in my opinion, i would stick with springs (neuspeed/eibach/etc) because i doubt i'd adjust the height once i find the drop i want. and since my car is my daily driver, i wouldn't want to sacrifice too much comfort.

i just posted this same reply to another topic. Do It yourself. especially on the ground control install. All you have to do is follow instructions correctly. Basic tools are all that is nessecary. You do not need a spring compressor as the GC springs are alot shorter that the stock ones and do not need to be compressed. You don't have to cut the spring perches on the fronts leaving you the option of going to a spring set up later on if you like, as VNlilMAN likes to suggest
