Question: Should I get a shock?!?!

I am planning to get H&R sport springs for my LX couple in the next week, but my friend told me that if I dont change my stock shock, then after a year or two, my schock is gonna wear out and I will have to pay around 750$ to get a set of new shock... is that true?!????!........ do people here all change their shocks when lowering their cars!??!?!??!

Thanx for answein' me,

you can lower your car with out buying new shocks...lowing your car will prematurely wear out your stock shocks

IMO, I don't think you would need it. I guess it depends on the road condition you drive around too.

majority of the people dont.. i would say only 20% get them..
also only difference between getting them now is you pay for installation again and you dont get to have a good ride for that period of time you were on stock shocks..
a 1.3" isnt even that low tho..
