Neuspeed vs Coils & Koni ---
HELP please, I've got an 01 EX Sedan W/ 12" sub in trunk, which set up is better? I want to have a SMOOTH ride, i drive 100+ miles / day and have a 2 hour daily commute. I also live in Pothole & Snow city, so will salt wear out the shocks / springs/ coilovers and make them "lock up"....anyways, any help is appreciated, I really didn't want the 1.5 & 1.75" drop w/ neuspeed sport, but it seems like my only choice w/ SEDAN....thanks

yeah, but from what i've SEARCHED, it seems the sedan owners should stick w/ neuspeed because the rear sags, just as posted like an hour ago, my question is springs & koni's or should i go w/ coilovers & konis, or does that not make sense? looking for imput...thanks

my main concern is ride quality, thanks for the imput, I do like the fact that you can adjust the coilovers, but if they give a bouncy ride, then I'll go w/ the neuspeed. I just didn't want a drop that much, cause of road conditions, I've got the full OEM lip kit and I've already had two instances where the kit got f'd up.....well i'm learning how to DIY touch up now, so I learned something, but i'm afraid of f'g up the kit all the time w/ that drop.....make any sense? thanks

someone posted a site that had nuespeed for only 145 shipped, that's not too bad at all, i don't know if goldlines are cheaper, but it seems like the neuspeed are more popular? I'm leaning twoards that settup w/ the koni's, but if it's better to just save up and get the teins, than maybe that's the way to go? I don't really know alot about this shiat, so i've been searching and researching, it's something i want to do once, and do it right the first time, you get what you pay for as we know.....

Hey bluestreak, i'm in the same situation as you are. I live in Canada, 2 hours north of Detroit. We are getting a **** load of snow. I have a 2002 lx sedan and want to lower it. I'm going with Neuspeed Sports. 2dr springs are different than 4dr springs. Specify when ordering. It is a good enough drop that you can still drive it in the winter. My friend has a 2001 sedan with Neuspeed sports and 2 15s in the trunk. He drives it every day in all this snow with no problems. It is a nice ride, even without changing the shocks. Neuspeed all the way.

neuspeed it is then, I also want to do the shocks/struts at the same time, koni's I guess, but do you have to re-allign or re-camber you car if you adjust the koni's, I just want to do it once and be done w/ it----thanks

Actually, If you're worried about the rear sagging AND plan to get Konis, you can adjust the height in the rear because it has a perch where you can set the height.

and to answer your other queation . adjusting the stiifness on your konis wont affect alignment. however moving the pring perch in the back up or down after you get your car aligned will affect the rear camber a bit.

ya if you get koni's, you could raise the rear about 1/2"-1" i believe so you have more options. if neuspeed sports seem kinda too low for you, just get the prokit, i personally would never get it but then i dont have a kit or have to worry about snow.

oh as for price..http://www.aieonline.com has them for $145 shipped. if they're on back order try http://www.cartunerz.com if its not $145 shipped then ask them to price match and they should
I have the Neuspeed sports. I live in Exeter, NH, go to school at Tufts U, right near Boston bro. But anyhow, I have the coupe. I also deliever pizza, so it is lots of driving, snow, and horrible roads for me. I gotta get the rubber under my bumper glued on tight or something, it hits sometimes when the snow is deep and is falling off. Main problem though is hard hitting with potholes and such. Neuspeed tells me I gotta get the koni neuspeed editions, they help with the bottoming out, since they are stiffer than the stock. I order the front ones today. Will get the rear soon enough, but they are definately not cheap.
