Installing Tein SS tomorrow!
I got my Tein SS the other day and am planning on installing them tomorrow... I already put the Eibach prokit on but my struts are blown pretty bad I think. I'll be selling the prokit next week if any one is interest PM me. Anyways, I think the install of the Tein's should be pretty easy since I did the last install myself, and already know where all the bolts are and what tools I'll need. I just wanted to see if there is anything else I should know that might be different for installing the TEIN's since they are adjustable. I am planning on using the recommend settings for now since its winter and adjust them once spring comes around. Thanks for any help or advice for making the install go smoothly.

Congrats on getting the Tein's, I'm sure you will be very happy
Tips:
Make sure you are very careful when assembling the stock upper mount and all reused stock parts, there a specific order to them as depicted in the Tein instructions, and you must follow that.
When you put the dust boot/cover on the front struts, make sure you only pull it down a little bit on the strut lower body. I pulled it like a 1/2inch down thinking that would help it stay on, but that defeated the vent holes that are in the lower portion of the boot which, when blocked like mine were, the boot gets sucked inwards (due to a vacuum created un upstroke of strut after compression) and mine got cought under (yes under, way way under) the bump stop, tearing the boot and making it not cover the strut from dust like its supposed to. I noticed this the other day and took off the strut, removed the spring and upper mount, and pryed the remnants of the boot out from under the bump stop. So, now the driver's side front strut has barely any dust cover on it, but it was my fault. So be careful when you put it on, only put the boot over the large portion of the strut body up to the large thick band inside the bottom of the boot. You'll know what I mean when you see it. If not, ask me for help if you want, I'll be glad to offer what I can.
Other than that it sounds like you should be fine since you already have experience removing and taking the old struts apart.
Good luck

Yeah I hope they are what I am looking for... I couldnt afford them but thats what credit cards are for Anyways, I just hope the stock parts I have to reuse are still in good shape. Looking at the instructions, the rear needs more stock parts than the fronts, I thought of ordering all the stock parts I need... But I need to replace these like yesterday, because my ride sucks right now and its been below 0 with the windchill and I'd hate to brake down on some country roads on the way home from work or to my girlfriends. I'll keep your advice in mind about the dust cover, thanks! I'll post a review after I get them put on.....

Cool. Yeah, i didnt want to reuse my almost 2 year old stock parts so ordered everything new, but you should be ok reusing stock parts. And yeah, the rear does require more cause the front only need the upper mount and thats it if memory serves.
Again, good luck, and if you need any help, holla at me.

I got my tein's installed this weekend. The install was a snap since I had all the right tools, and my sister's boyfriend helped out. He's a mechanic so he's got everything I needed. Too bad I couldnt get my car on the lift because of my body kit Anyways, it took about 3 hours for the whole install. We didn't even need a spring compressor which made things go smoothly. I installed them with the recommended ride height/dampening. My car is MUCH lower now with than with the eibach pro kit. And I sill have about another inch I could drop it. For those that say Tein's don't lower enough, you don't know what you are talking about. I could barely pull out of his garage because my exhaust scraped. Either way, I like the ride height at the recommend level. I've got just enough road clearance on flat roads, I just got to be careful over speed bumps and hilled drive ways. I still have a pretty stiff ride, but my old struts were blown, some of them had oil dripping out of them. I put them in the dumpster because I had no use for them. I got my old prokit for sale in the marketplace if anyone is interested. I guess I'll have to play around with the dampening to get the best ride that I like.
