Where is your camber set?

Well, I have some 18" Shu-4s with 215/35-18 tires and Neuspeed Race springs (2.25 drop front, 2.00 drop rear). I just received me ingalls camber kit, all the way around and I was just curious, for those of you who have this setup, where did you set the camber to? If I put it to 0 degrees, will that cause any tire rubbing on the fender? Should I get it set to a little more? Thanks in advance for the assist...

front, 0 should be fine..
the rear you want a slight negative camber.. it comes with like a -.5 degree from factory..
i would try to set it to that, if it rubs, either roll the fenders or a little or go as much as -1.25 or even -1.5 degree

btw, you have pics? thats the setup i wanted.. 35s with race.. i have 40s with sports.. hate it..

sweet...so I should tell the alignment shop to shoot for 0.5 degrees of negative camber for the rear? BTW, how did you get that info? Is there a source for that somewhere? And you say that 1.5 degrees for the rear is the max acceptable? Cool? Anybody else with a different setup with any input as far as tire wear? As far as pics...no, not yet...gotta get my boyz digital cam to do that...I'll shoot ya an email or something when I do get em...Thanks again for the help...

i just learn things from reading around.. last time a couple people posted up their alignment sheet. and someone had a helms manual.
spec for the front camber was like 0 +- 1 degree. the rear was -.45 +- 1 degree.
the alignment shop should have this info and they'll align the car to those specs.. but ya if you specifically ask them to adjust it to -.5 degree they should do it for you.. but then what if it rubs.. you have no choice but to roll the fenders.. i would say first ask them for their opinion

Ideal setup would be 0 in front and a little bit negative in back. The more negative you go, the better your grip will be while cornering. Just be aware that tire wear will be uneven, but the rear tires don't wear down as much as the front tires do. That's why I say max out rear camber (well, within reason).

Hey Grey, if you have your cambers too negative, doesn't it make you accelerate slower or something? Its just something bogging in the back of my mind.

Up front yeah, but not in back. In back it doesn't matter. Actually, you might accelerate a little quicker since less of the tire is in contact on straighaways. Less drag and what not.
