Anybody know how harsh the ride is with Eibach Sportlines? I worked out a deal where I can get a set for 150 bucks, but if theyre too harsh then I dont want them. Thanks for any feedback.

Sportlines ride isnt the worst. BUT, depends on what you have going on with the rest of the suspension. I have Sportlines & the ride was Ok, then I got my 17's w a 40 series tire. ALOT rougher ride. Sometimes I really get sick of the bumps, but all in all I guess I dont mind. It could be worse. I still have my OEM struts. So I do not know if some aftermarket struts will make a difference. I think it probably would, but like I said, I dont have them, so I dont know for sure.
Hope this helps.

Ahh yes.. niice ride! Thats about the drop that I want to try for, maybe a little bit more with perhaps some Goldlines. Did you need a camber kit in the rear and any problems with speed bumps yet? Thanks!

*warning* pictures of cars look lower then they really are *warning*
wish someone would have told me cause then i would have never gone with neuspeed sports(similar drop to eibachs and goldlines).
ride wise, you cant get much better then eibach, neuspeed, h&r or goldline... they all ride fairly nice.. but with all lowered suspension it'll never ride as nice as stock, especially with stock shocks.. konis will give you a very nice ride... almost stock... $150 for NEW eibach springs? if a 1.6" is what your looking for i say go for it. but if it was me and i could drop my car again i'd get the neuspeed race for $140 cause my sports look stock height to everyone.. its like i paid $140 for my car to look stock, kinda wasting money IMO.

VNlilMAN, wouldn't neuspeed's race seriously mess things up with stock struts??? I wanted to go with sports for that reason but I also want to try for the least amount of well gap without resorting to coilovers or new struts anytime soon.

well i had my stock wheels for like 6 months with my lowered car.. even then people couldnt really tell the car was dropped... i HATED the fender gap, the ride height was alright, could be a lil lower... now with my 18s(i think .75" bigger then stock), i'm ok with the fender gap(although it could be smaller) and i HATE my ride height.
yes with race you have a better chance of blowing the struts and probably do need a camber kit but why spend $200 to drop your car and have it still look stock? at the time i didnt have money so i just got springs... i guess it does look OK but of course i would want my car to look better... if i could do it all over, i would have gotten neuspeed race and a rear camber kit. still ride on stock shocks and replace them when they blow/i have money

Speed bumps only give me issues here & there. Other than that, just take it slow & its all good. The installer must have been high when he installed my exhause, its all fu**ed up.
