I just installed my floor bar tonight(look at the time). Well, I'll tell you one thing, it was the best $79 dollars I spent. I had to get some washers to fit the bar properly, but its all well. I drove it around for a hour afterwards and the car is about 25% stiffer(than two strut bars). I can feel all the bumps in the road and my car feels so controllable. I know what people talk about when they say there car is bouncy, but my car is very rough. My car goes over a bump and it bounces once and its back to normal again. You have to love it. I should play around with the settings(12/8, right now) and see how it goes.
I might trade for 18 inch subzeros. I guess I should, I do not street race at all and the 16 will not help me if I do not race... 18s powdercoated flat black or the color of my car(a close enough color)... This does not get in the way of me getting 17x8s. I think Regamaster makes that size too(for those who do not know the company, they make the spoons rims for you guessed it, spoon). Him... Anyone looking for $400 floor standing speakers??? Anyone?

No, I don't have a welder. Yet.
I was planning on making it out of aluminum. I'm not sure of the design just yet. I want one that I can depend on to anchor my seat belts to when I get aftermarket seats. It has to be very stiff. I might even triangulate it in the vertical direction so that I can be sure that it will not bend when I have my seat belt anchored to it. We'll see though. I don't want it to be a total pain in the *** for when I have rear seat passengers. It'll need to be compact enough, yet strong enough. I might need to make it out of steel instead of aluminum. Chromoly would be nice, but too expensive. I plan to call it "Mr. Stiffy".
