Mbow,

Install your Konis, experiment with the settings till you get what you like and drive awhile. I guarantee you will be happy with the ride and handling. OTOH if you want to sell them, I might consider buying them, and installing the fronts in a set of struts, and reselling the whole deal as a ready to install kit, as I do have a spare set of front struts.

BartKat: I can't believe it took you this long to run across this thread! LOL Anyhow, the front struts are already in modified oe struts. All I have to do is take out my current ones and install these...

I may put them on today but I can't decide for other reasons...nothing to do with the struts themselves however.....

Thats either a misprint or an all out lie, because we have people on here who have called the company and confirmed that they are not out and then someone with a shop somewhere saying that they are. I would put my money on the company that makes them, I think they would know first.

I just called Tokico 2 weeks ago to the day. They hope to have them out in the next 6 months but really have no clue as to an actual release date. Do what you want though. There is always someone that buys something because some idiot says the part is out etc...They end up screwed in the end everytime..

well, I know this is just regurgitated information, but I had to find out myself and wanted to share my update with yall. I just called Tokico USA (1-800-548-2549) about 5 miutes ago and spoke to one of their reps. I asked them about the development of some shocks/struts for the 7th Gen Civic and he did give me some info. Anyway, he said that as of right now, Tokico Japan has something under development, but after all the approval processes and testing, we may not see a finished product until mid-summer, although he was hoping for an earlier date. He said they for sure will not be making a replaceable cartridge (ie, Koni), but a complete setup/direct replacement. He said that because the steering bolt is attached directly to the strut, it is difficult to manufacture (I wouldn't think so, but who knows what really goes on at those places). No word on pricing. Oh, I also asked why it has not been posted on the Tokico website as a new product under development and he said that they do not want to post it as such and have people believe that it is already out (I guess they are assuming that some people out there don't understand the meaning of "under development", and the sad thing is...they are probably right). Anyway, he said to stay posted to the website sometime in March and they MAY have a product update as to where they are in the development stage.

Well, I know it wasn't what yall wanted to hear, but I just wanted to share my small bit of info. I also figured that the more that people call and bother them about it, maybe they will realize there is a good consumer base for this product and push it quicker to the market (not bypassing any quality control checks, of course).
