Am I wasting my time?
I'm just looking for a little feedback to see if I’m would be wasting my time, if I were to start a thread that explained how different parts of your suspension affect your cars handling. Would this be useful for any one here, does any one care about knowing why an oversized rear sway bar helps with handling? Or do people just buy suspension parts because, if some one took the time to make it, then it has to be better than stock. Personally I like to know why a part helps out on my car.

I don't think that you would be wasting your time. I am just starting to learn about suspension. I have learned alot from this forum, but I know that I still have much to learn. It is up to you man, but as far as I am concerned, it wouldn't be a waste of time.

I'd love to here what you dissagree about. The more I can learn about suspesion, the better I can tune my own, and I have found that the more I try to explain things to others, the better I understand it my self. I autocross, Suspesion/handling are probably the most important part of that form of racing.

I already have a cold air intake and struts on front upper and back lower I have all kinds of things that i want to do to it but the suspencion is something i need help on.

Well ok. Starting next week, I'll start a new thread "Suspension Tuning 101". I'll cover the basics first, Handling Dynamics. Then I'll cover Wheels, Tires, Springs, Shocks, Antiroll Bars and brakes, How they affect Handling. Then I'll get in to more specific tuning of each part. Finally if any one is interested I'll cover Suspension tuning and Driving for Motorsports. If VNlilMAN would tell me how to make a thread "sticky" I'll get started. This is starting to look like I'll be writing a book.
