Who makes a rear lower tie for 02 civics?

I currently have the dc sports rear lower tie on my civic, but ever since I have had it on there it creaks alot. Is this normal or should I start looking for a different brand?

carpe diem....is your car lowered? because if it is i have the same creaking noise...its more pronounced in the morning when its cold...the place where i got my car lowered said it was a bushing inside the strut tower...its a honda defect...when you lower our cars the bushing makes that noise. its also more pronounced the more you lower your car

It is not really a defect it is what you get when you lower a car and keep the stock parts. You cannot really tell with unibody cars. They flex and noises can happen everywhere a part meets another.

Don't know why we started talking about sway bars? Anyway, the DC Sports rear tie bar sucks *****. I sold mine because it wasn't doing anything for me. Hey, now back to the subject of sway bars. Get a Progress Group rear sway bar! it has an integrated tie bar and it rocks!

I guess there is other brands... AC technica whatever... OBX.... etc.

all the same. just get solid piece ones without pivot points...

and I think the only ones are neuspeed and skunk2..

or any other integrated rear tie bar/rear sway bar... (progress, comptechusa)

ProCarParts.com makes a tie bar for our cars. Their service sucks though. I heard they've messed up a lot of orders for people who own our cars. They even messed up mine. I have to resend the product they sent me because what I got didn't fit. They will reimburse me for shipping though. From what I heard, their tie bar is pretty good.

thats why it kinda sucks.. cuz of the price attach to it, and its actual functionality...

I dont know, I'm not fond of DC sports, i think its a over hyped brand name.... obviously I'm biased.

but um, their design jsut doesn't work for me.. a solid piece bar or a bar without pivot point just works better than a bar with pivot points.

for the price of DC, u might as well get an ebay bar.

A rear tie bar without a bigger sway bar does nothing for our cars except look good.
