Neuspeed Sport uneven drop???
I installed neuspeed sports this weekend on a 2K1 EX and the rear tires are in the wheel well and the fronts are about 1inch above the wheel...But it appears to be sitting even, but there is no stance which i wanted...so i was wondering if anyone else had this "problem" when installing their springs...And if not, what could have caused this? thanks

um... I've heard that the front or rear, I think its the front fenderwells are cut higher..... So the neuspeeds would make it evenly dropped...... but maybe it was an installation problem? I dont know, I've never heard of that problem and VNIL up there is the Neuspeed and Suspension

first complaint i ever heard about them in awhile. maybe you just have some badd springs? i suggest you call up neuspeed. i'm sure they'll replace them for you. but then ya you have to pay for installation again.

haha thanks. well in neuspeeds case i dont think its the fenderwells problem. goldline had that kind of drop cause that was their definition of an even drop. they're supposed to come out with a new re-designed kit on nov 29th tho.
but ya from my experience... i had the OLD neuspeed springs(a while back, there were only one kind) on the coupe. i had like a 1 1/2[finger] gap in the front 3 in the rear. called up neuspeed and found out they made a kit for the coupe, making the old one for sedans. since neuspeed HQ is an hour away i took it there and they "replaced" my rear springs for free. i have "" cause i think they just cut them. but then thats probably what coupe springs are anyways, factory cut sedan springs. after i got them replaced i had a 1 1/2 gap all around. and even in all pictures i've seen/what people told me, they have an even gap. its probably a defect. i dont see how installing them wrong could have cause it to go lower. maybe higher but not lower. unless if the shop you got them installed at cut the springs thinking they were the old ones. but ya if your not happy, i would just call them. i know i'm glad i got mine replaced.

Bad springs is a possibility...well i put them in myself so i will not need to pay to have them installed again...i will just have to go through the hastle. And YES i did them correctly...I know that your thinking i put them in wrong, but it's pretty damn hard to screw it up, its pretty basic. thanks for the input, i'll give them a holla and see what they have to say, take them up on their "no sagging butt" guarantee..not that its sagging..but it's lower than it should be. Thanks

They guarantee a no sagging butt? Sweet! I didn't know that Neuspeed had any kind of guarantee...
As for the wheelgap, I have 205/40/17 and I have about 2 1/2 fingers all around. But then again I have thin fingers, but some people say they couldn't even tell that my car was lowered, maybe cuz what they define "lowered" as is having your tires 2 inches inside your fender. But I think it looks fine and just perfect. I think Neuspeed Sports are perfect for a kit... Why I am stating my useless information I dont know
, but good luck bro and give them a call 4 sure.
