A few Tein Suspenion Questions...

After reading AznVoice's set-up and the whole thread I have a few questions that could help use all.

Ok, so there is the Tein SS, and there is the Tein Flex. From what I've gathered the Tein Flex is about an inch lower, and a more aggressive ride. I've also read that it is available for our cars, but when I go to the website our car is not listed...but it is listed for the RSX.

So my questions are as follows...
Is the Tein Flex available for our cars?
If so, what is the cheapest we can find it?
If not, will the RSX Flex system work on our cars?
Will the EDFC work on either of these systems?
Does anyone here have the EDFC installed?

ASWZero is an unknown quantity at this point
yes the flex is available for our cars, the EDFC will not work on our cars(unless you want two holes on the hood), the EDFC will only fit on the Flex coils(pillowball mounts for the flex are made for the EDFC)
I have mine on order straight from Japan. It should be coming in at the end of the month and i got mine for $1700 shipped. Email tsstore@trapspeed.net or goto trapspeed home page

I asked about the JIC coils fitting on our cars and the shop said something about the lower control arm not fitting(i am guessing front b/c of the difference of the engine setup. got to go to class, later.

Here is a link: For Tein Instruction Manuals

Getting the full coils setup(Flex) will give you:

Quicker steering(spherical bearing in pillowball)
front camber adjustment(in pillowball and can be used with camber bolts for extreme tuning)
no NOISE
stronger, lighter parts(not using stock mounts for stock suspension)
EDFC can be used, but only the rear can be left on
Lower shock mounts are height adjustable

There can be more, but those are the main ones. Hope it helps.

i just got the TEIN SS installed in my car yesterday..the right i must admit is better...but anything is better than dropzone coils...lol..but anyways...are teh TEINS known for making noise? if so is it a creaking noise..when you drive off..cause i can hear a rattle of some sort..but i also heard that with my coils.....the noise wasn't there when i first installed the TEINS but ...after a day of driving the noise was back?? any suggestions?

every suspension product can make noises, its usually an installation issue.

yeah, if you use the stock parts for aftermarket suspension, you should expect noise. That is why the Tein SS should make some noise. The Flex on the other hand will be a different story.

For everyone how loves to work on their car and do it cheaply....
