eibach prokit/neuspeed kit... struts?chamberkit?

hey guys,
so here in a couple months im going to put a drop and 17s on my 2k1
im between the eibach prokit and neuspeed springs and im putting some racing hart c5s w/ 215/45/17s
my question is... if i get the prokit/neuspeed, do i need to be ready to shell out for struts, and a chamber kit? or will i be ok with just the springs...
thanks alot for any advice

why are your choices the prokit and sports? you do know they are different drops right.
as for are you going to need struts and camber kit, this has been answered many times so it has been included in the suspension faq. i dont feel like a punk today so i'll just answer..
basic rule is the lower the drop, the more your going to need both. alot of people including i have stock shocks. how long will they last.. it really depends on alot of things, road conditions, driving habits, luck, the amount it drops, etc... i really hate to give an estimate in time cause i've heard people blowing there shocks in a week with a 1.2" drop and others that last for 2 years with a 1.75" drop. me, myself, i'm hoping mine last atleast a year and a half. by that time i'm hoping new shocks will be out by then cause only option now are konis. but keep in mind, advantage of getting it now is you save installation time/money. also the time your back thanks you for the better ride with konis compared to stock shocks.
camber kit... i have neuspeed sports and dont have one. however i personally think you should get one for the rear. i could tell 1 inch of outside of my tires arent touching the ground. i'll probably get one eventually when i get more money and stop being lazy. you dont need one for the front tho cause the camber is hardly effected.

ACK,
ok well now im sure im lost,
lets try this question again...
im putting 17s on with 215/45/17 tires
i want to eliminate the wheel gap (i dont want it slammed) but i dont want to rub
im also interested in getting a smoother ride after the drop...
so i guess the question is:
what do i need to replace to get a drop with a smooth ride that will eliminate the wheel gap?

thanks for the patience
im pretty in over my head , im just learning about all of this
and i want to make sure i do everything right

thanks again

sorry, i know, i like to write novels, i'll try to keep this short and to the point.
personally i dont think anything rides smoother then stock. but for the best lowered ride..
1) good springs - eibach,neuspeed,goldlines,H&rs are all good $130-200
2) konis $550

other stuff you might need...
1) depending on the drop, you need rear camber kit, which is about $125
2) alignment - recommended after everytime you drop/raise the car. $50

basically all you need to lower your ride is springs tho.

im only really looking for about 1-1.5 inch drop
the streets are horrible here...
is it just a matter of time before my stock shocks blow?
if its just all a roll of the dice, then im buying konis along with the springs ($$$)
but if i can get buy with just springs id rather

you do know that a 1"-1.5" drop isnt really noticable right? i have my car on neuspeed sports and a girl couldnt even tell my car was lowered till i pointed out the fender gap.
as for shocks, i would say its mostly the roll of a dice but not really. for majority(keep in mind thats only half +1) of the people they should last quite awhile if its only a mild drop like that. it will most likely last a year atleast but there also is a fairly good chance it'll blow in a couple months. if you have the money and want a smooth ride and are willing to pay that extra then i would say get it with the springs. personally i didnt really care about the ride too much, so even if i had the money and had neuspeed race(about 2.25" drop) springs i probably still wouldnt have gotten them. if they did blow and i couldnt stand the ride, i would probably end up getting it but thats a risk i'm willing to take(i know i'm cheap like that).
sorry i know this was long too but hopefully it was that confusing this time.
