Yeah. Goldlines are the best! I just got mine installed about a week ago and they ride very comfortable. Dropped my car a little farther than I wanted it to go (because the installers just decided to cut the bump stops in half.), but I love it. I've got a bit of negative camber in the rear though. I can highly recommend these springs.

i dont think cutting your bumpstops lowers your car more, if it did... if you didnt cut it, you would be riding on your bumpstop and your shocks wouldnt even be moving. the purpose of bumpstops is to prevent bottoming out. i think we had this arguement before tho.

I hate my Goldlines!!!! I need sometthing stiffer and higher. I have major problems with the ground at high speeds. and I only have less then 6 inches off the ground. I had to throw 50's on so I could take my car to the shop and get over ramps, speed bumps, and jacks.

They are way to soft the car doesn't settle fast enough after hitting a dip or bump on the highway. I have had mine for about a year now. I am thinking about skunk2 coilovers.

See my car at: www. underwaterdesign.com/imports - It is Project Enzo

The GoldLines are good but I'm still pissed that the rear driver is lower than the rest of the car! It's been like 2 months and it still looks like this! It is not me either cause I only weigh like 140lbs. This was like this on my integra too, same exact thing, different installers, different springs

thats how goldlines were designed... an even drop to most of us is determined by the fender gap. an even drop to goldline is determined by the ground clearance(ride height) and thats what goldline went by. but ya i dont like how they look either, thats why i love my neuspeeds, its an even drop in my definition, 1 finger gap all around.

If you have a problem w/the Gold Line springs please contact Gold Line. If you have a defective spring then we will certainly warranty the part, no questions asked.

Sup guys. I am about to pickup a set of springs and it looks like all and all alot of people have mostly good things to say about goldline. No what I want to know is if anyone is having any rubs with these springs. Also, what would be the best front upper strut bar that can clear an AEM CAI (for the money)?
Thanx
Andy

I just had mine installed today. The rear sits lower then my old Pro Kit, but the front sits higher. Kinda whack. I hope they settle a littke. I'd like the "flat - even" looking ride.

Goldline told me today that if I didn't like the stance, they would send me another set for the rear (sedan) as they sit 5/8" higher on the coupe.

We'll see.

ya thats how the drop is on the goldlines but good thing their service is the best... alot of people arent happy with the drop on the coupe with coupe springs so they get a free set of rear sedan springs. wonder how they even stay in business...

Hey Im still trying to decide what springs to get, Id love to get eibach but they are too expensive. And I now like goldline alot..But im extremly worried about the drop. I didn't want to drop my car 2" at most I wanted to lower it 1.5". Is anyone here having problems with their drop. As in speedbumps or other. Also I dont have a body kit.

And also to the guy who just got the H&R springs I think I want those how do you like them (send a pic)?

cant go wrong with neuspeed sports. 1 1/2 finger gap all around with stock LX tires. not too low yet low enough to kinda tell your car is dropped. speedbumps are no problems cause they are still kinda high. i've only scrapped once and bottomed out on a speedbump once(forgot to go sideways). even let my 16 girl cousin who doesnt have her permit drive over speedbumps, didnt even bottom out then.
to me prokit and H&R are still way too high especially if you dont have a body kit.

oh and if you want check my pics, i have them with stock wheels and 18s... even have a close up of the gaps with 18s if you want... just PM for them cause its not on my members page.

What "SacMan" is neglecting to mention is that he has a speaker box in the rear of his vehicle. I cant stress enough how this can make all the difference in the world. VNlilMAN can run his mouth all day about Neuspeed springs being the be all and end all of coil springs. However, "all" spring companies deal w/this problem on a regular basis. Before we started Gold Line I was in charge of the technical service dept. for Eibach. This is/was the most common issue we would have to deal with on a day to day basis. Keep in mind, Neuspeed & Eibach tend to design their spring kits w/a much stiffer spring rate than we do at Gold Line. Thusly, they are less sensitive to additional weight in the trunk. However, this also effects ride quality and overrall ride comfort.

SACMAN does have a system but its only a 300 watt amp with 2 12" comp VRs in box... probably doesnt even weigh 100 lbs... and you said your spring rates were 300lbs right? the system probably lowers the car .15" the most no?
also since those springs are stiffer they might give a harsher ride but just because the springs are softer doesnt mean its always better... what happens when you have 4 people in the car? rider had goldlines with a xenon kit and he said if 4 people rode in his car, he would basically be dragging the rear end... when you hit a bump/take corners fast you run the risk of rubbing your tires against the fender. also performance wise, soft springs arent too good...
why not make lowering springs the same spring rate as stock springs... you'll have a very comfortable ride. almost as good as stock(almost cause your shocks are still compressed 24/7) i know i'm going a little extreme on that comment but just shows softer isnt always good...

and you even said it yourself... goldlines definition of an even drop is determined by the ride height. and since the front fender is cut higher then the rear, the front gap will inFACT be bigger then the rear. thats the way you guys designed your spring and sorry to say but most people arent looking for that. they're looking for an even fender gap, not an even ride height... i dunno, maybe your market researching has shown people consider an even drop by the ride height but from my observation, majority of people consider an even drop by looking at the fender gap. if you want to do some market researching here, i'll be glad to set up some poll asking people what type of drop they like. and you should already know how many people arent satisfied with your drop... i'm sure atleast 10 people here got a free set of sedan springs.

dont get me wrong, i'm not bashing you or your company. goldlines are some great springs. and your customer service, you cant beat. but i personally dont like the drop and most people dont either. like what 5 out of 10 people will complain about the goldline drop while 1 out of 20 complain about the neuspeed drop... why, neuspeeds give an even fender gap. goldlines, dont making the rear looking like its sagging. goldlines are great but IMO neuspeeds are even greater
