Urgent help with spring installation!
I removed the nuts on the top of the strut on both sides of the rear and jacked both sides up. Now what do I do next to get the strut out. The direstions on this board just say "jack it up" and then "you now have the strut in your hands". What do I do in between that? Please help.

did you read my DIY up at the top?
and just making sure this is for the rear...
the rear has 3 bolts you need to take out. 2 at the top inside the trunk and one at the bottom. you have the 2 bolts out at the top right, now the bottom, its the same size as the lug nut one. it might take some strength, i had to put my whole body into it. take out the nut then tap on the bolt to get it out. now the strut should come out... it might be stuck on that bar it sits on tho so you might have to move it. hope this helped sorry i'm not too good at explaining things

isnt this good enough?
"back:
1) remove the top two bolts(these are found right behind the seats in the trunk). you have to remove the 'carpet' from the sides to get to them. you could try loosening up the middle bolt for this too. not sure if it'll work cause i forgot to try.
2) jack up the car and remove the bottom nut
3) as you did with the front, mark the top and bottom of the shock to algin it right when you put it all back together(i learned the hard way)
"
its weird cause your not the first person to tell me it wasn't good enough, what should i add? i'll make it a lil bit more detailed right now...

Yah I figured that part easily enough once I looked through some of the other DIYs. The front was kind of troublesome because it was hard to get everything to fit back together in the front when putting the shocks back in. I love the look and the handling and am ordering a strut bar tomorrow. Thanks for the DIY. It was a lot of help!
