ANOTHER sway Bar instal
Well boys and Girls My buddy Ryan hooked me up with his Rear RSX type-s sway bar. since he no has an adjustable Comptech for his -S-
the stock Sway bar looks like spaghetti compared to the RSX Sway.
and the way it handles? its GREAT ! ! ! I recommend this upgrade
I cant say how much they should go for
Hit up an Acura dealer all you need is the SWAY BAR, BUSHINGS, And BRACKETS. I installed mine with the Stock end links

Good going! I hear that the 22mm bar helps even more. That's what I'm shooting for. Although I've got an LX, so I need to weld on some of those custom brackets to be able to mount a sway bar in the rear. Oh well, it'll happen one of these days...

Not a waste of time. After lowering the car it's the best mod to help you corner. If you like to take on-ramps and off-ramps above the reccomended speed limit, then this mod is for you!
In order of importance to cornering: wheels > lowering > anti-roll bars > strut bars > tie bars

that's right...... in and out of those on ramps and off rams allot faster. and over all the car just handles better, even under normal driving conditions. You can even tell the Difference just by changing lanes

its a very good and effective mod... whether your ride is dropped or not.
the stock rear sway just isn't enough.. thats why Honda increase it by 1 mm for the 2002 Civic, and added in one for the LX (01 LX doesn't have rear sway)
reduce body roll, more neutral handling, and keeps your car flat around those corners.
I would get the 22mm, but I think thats overkill for me. heh. (tie bar definitely recommended, so the thick sway bar doesn't rip the subframe apart.)
if you have an EX, or 02 LX, do it! its a relatively easy bolt on. just search for the DIY.

Unless you're going racing, the RSX sway bar is plenty big. The 22 mm bar is said to put your car into an oversteer attitude and can be dangerous in daily driving.
I would suggest the order of handling mods to be:
Wider tiires, springs and shocks, sway bar, upper tie bars.
That's because grip, spring rate and damping affect overall handling while sway bars are only mostly good for cornering.
I am happy with my Pro Kit, Koni Yellows and upper tie bars, front and rear. I might add the RSX sway bar, but I don't think it would be the first mod I'd make, based on my good experience with the tires, springs and shocks.
