RSX rear sway bar cause problems with new exhaust???

Sorry for the double post but my post belongs here.......

Hi,
I am interested in getting new exhaust and possibly put on the RSX rear sway bar. I was wondering if this is gonna be a problem??? Since the sway bar is thicker and the exhaust piping is bigger there will be less room for suspension movement and they could possibly touch...
Has this happened to anyone? Or has anyone thought about this???

Help me and others out please
Thanks Guys
Mike

There should be the same amount of clearance when your done because the bar does not come into the area where the exhaust runs.
You should be good to go.

dont think you're good to go...

it may not fit some aftermarket exhaust... thats for sure.

check out comptech's 19mm sway bar for the RSX/Civic.. they have the disclaimer right there..

I had the 19mm RSX sway bar on my EX Coupe with the Greddy EVO and there was a fair amount of room around the piping (approximately 1" on all sides).

However, other systems might not have the same clearance.

My factory sway rubs on my Thermal cat back. How do you like the GReddy?

mike,

That is why I stayed away from the Thermal system. The bends are not placed properly and do not provide enough clearance. The Greddy however is perfectly aligned. My only complaint is that it hangs a little low for my liking even though I got the 2 door version for my 2 door EX. The sound is nice but to be honest, our little 4 bangers don't push enough exhaust to take advantage of the Greddy system's larger pipe diameter. Nonetheless, this system is probably the best I've seen thus far. I tried the DC Sport TCS and was not satisfied with the fitment even after trying all three of the systems DC Sports sent me to remedy the problem.

My Greddy EVO is for sale by the way. I'm asking $450 (it's only 1-2 weeks old and was only installed for a week). I just bought a house and need some extra cash.
