i have 17in moderna spyders, lo profile federal tires. is a 1.5 inch drop good enough? or should i drop it more?

not sure if its the same for 7th gen as 6th gen but i dropped mine 2.25" with goldline springs (recommend these) and it looks great to me.

depends on the size tires, how careful you want to drive, do you mind spending the extra cash on shocks and camber kit, etc...

Anything past a 1.3" Drop and a Camber it is almost certainly required..as well as aftermarket shocks..your OEM shocks won't last long with a big drop

If you want a "slammed, in the weeds" look, then I would go for a 2" drop and more. However, you are going to be very low and driveways, speedbumps, and any kind of bump will become a pain in the bumm. If you want to get rid of the wheel gap, and have a moderately lowered car that looks awesome, I would go with a 1.5-1.75" drop. You will NEED camber kits. Otherwise, the tires will wear out very quickly on the inside.

Oh, and don't get me wrong, a slammed car looks awesome imo, but just isn't very practical for the daily commute.

dude, I agree with Mbow, I think he said it right on...I will likely get
the 1.5-1.75 drop...I am a fast driver, but live in the city, daily driver,
ask slammed civic if you want the other point of view after dropping your vic into the weeds, and dragging over speed bumps![IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
