Honda Sports Suspension Package
Well, we just got our first shipment of the new honda sports suspension package at work today. I was told it retails for about 5 grand, and it has to be installed by the dealer at the time of sale. This means HandA-accessories (we run this business too) will not be carrying the product. Just letting you guys know.
btw, I put this in off topic so everyone would see it.

The internet guy at work (he knows about all the honda accessories) says the same guy that designed the nsx suspension designed this suspension package. I would assume honda is manufacturing it. On their press release, they said it will provide the car with a 29 mm drop(I don't think it's adjustable). 16"x6.5" rims with tires. You also get an agressively styled body kit that's color matched. I'll try to get pictures if they put it on one of the cars in the showroom. To be honest, it's so new that nobody knows anything about it yet. I asked the service guys how much it would cost to install, and they hadn't even heard of the package. When I get more info, I'll post.

so for 5 grand not only is there springs, wheels and tires but a body kit? Wow....
still thats pretty steep. but think its OEM and Honda has to service it...
I am curious though...with that kind of drop which seems like 1.2 1.3 inches does honda have different struts/shocks to go with this as well???

Here's some info on the package click here
Like I wrote on the other topic about this, My dealer already has it installed on a Civic on the showroom. I gave a little description of it in the other topic. I'll be taking a digi-cam out there today and I'll probably get the pics up tomorrow. Unfortunately like Cali said, we can't buy any of the individual parts for our cars, not even the 16" wheels.

They have a double page spread in the new Import Racer magazine...if it is the package, the wheels are pretty cool, look exactly like the SI type r wheel.

hate to bust your bubble guys but that site is their concept civic, not the hoda sport package. they did however say they based their specs on the new sport package by honda and listed honda's specs as follows.
Still for under 4k Its not enough.
<font color=white style="background-color: 3E3E3E;">New Sport Suspension Package for 2002 Civic EX Coupes From Honda</font ft>
The new Sport Suspension package, available as a Genuine Honda Accessory Package on 2002 Civic EX Coupes, is the first time Honda has offered a high performance, sport tuned suspension package. The package will include:
High Performance Springs that result in approx. a 29 mm ride height reduction
High performance shocks tuned for excellent road handling characteristics
Lightweight 16x6.5 alloy wheels
High Performance 205/50-16 tires
Designed for Civic Enthusiasts, the Sport Suspension Package delivers sports car-like performance by dramatically increasing handling dynamics through high-performance suspension tuning. The limited availability package is expected to have an MSRP of less than $4,000 and will be available exclusively through Honda dealers nationwide. Installed at the dealer, the package will carry the same warranty as any Honda Accessory (3-year, 36,000 miles)
This part sounds OEM. and if they call some POS michelin tire high performance...ROFL.
now seriously these parts could be ordered separatly...now a dealer might not allow it but think...if you blow one of the shocks, how are they gonna replace it? with stock? no...order a whole new kit? no....its possible....just gotta wait till someone breaks the rules
of course they SAY they wont sell it is because they want to sell new cars....
