new springs question

ok i have done suspension before in my 6th gen. The stock struts held for a while with lowered springs, but i never actaully got around to see what happens when they blow because I sold the car. I am planning on getting some new springs for my ride, but I would like to know how long I have on the stock struts before the blow in the 7th gens? Also when they blow, all i will experence is a bouncy ride correct? What other damange can happen with blow springs. Thanks guys and gals.

It will bounce like crazy and if your car is low enough it will scrape everywhere and your tires will rub up in the fender. You can mess up your tires along with the car. Trust me I know how it feels to ride on blown shocks. You will not want to drive your car. You definitely can't have people in the car with blown shocks.
