SLAM YOUR CIVIC, NO 1.4' DROPS
OHH MAN!
Whats wrong with all these peeps?
I keep hearing about people saying in different threads about lowering it like 1.4 , or 1.5 inches!
You gotta slam the car, what the hell is a 1.4' drop. 1.5', or even 2' is a bit better but its still not much!
And who said yea are cars are pretty low as it is? We have so much ground clearance its disgusting!
My friend has the WW G5 kit and its lowered like 1.8 and hes still got enough ground clearance (except for the sides)!
SLAMMED CARS ARE THE SICKEST
COME ON AND TUCK THOSE WHEELS
let me know what u think

I have the pro kit with a 1" drop ("= inch, not ') anyways, I have the xenon kit and 40 series tires, and I can barely stick my shoe under it.... I don't see how you could lower it any more than that, otherwise i'd be scraping, maybe if you buy bigger tires than stock, than you could lower it more....I am happy the way my car looks now!
I agree as well, you got to balance practability with style, even with adjustables, every time you adjust them you have to get stuff re-alinged and then it throws off the camber, and it all costs money. All this stuff is important, you cant just slam a car and drive it around town like nothing. Well, I guess you could...but I think you gotta find a happy medium. Get froggy on it but don't get silly...

TOOLOWCIVIC & CoolMD
You guys know what im saying
and to everyone else, if you do have 17" then yea you obvioulsy cant go that low, coz you dont wanna rub too much, but like i had a '93 civic si, it was slammed, like every speed bump i went over, you just heard my whole exhaust, from the DC Headers all the way through the 2.25"piping and the muffler scraping the speed bumps!
But did it ever look sick!
Here Check it out!

I have dropped my civic 2 inches and its low as nuts. I have to admit the driving is not at all fun the constant stop and go on the roads is not fun, swerving for pot holes, slowing down over railroad tracks, going negative mach 3 over little speed bumps, and then taking big speed bumps at the sharpest angle, I dont like it but I love the way my car looks low.

Yea man!
Its obviously not 100% practical, but it has 100% the first thing you notice on the car, and its wicked!
Just feels nice, being so low 2 the ground!!!!!!!!

Slammed civics look good, you got that. But for people like me who autocross and want a car that handles well, lowering over 2" just isn't practical. Any lower than 2" and you lose your suspension travel along with its geometry, both of which are necessary to have a good handling car. As long as you are just going for show, go ahead and slam, but if you want at least a chance at outhandling a faster car in the turns, I'd stick to Eibach or H&R (Neuspeed race if you weekend your car). Peace.

slammed in my opinion is a show thing, why do u want to be bouncing all around and hitting ur head on the ceiling driving everyday, dragging and scraping ur exhaust, not opinion of a good thing, and why would u want to make ur kit all fudged up and have it falling off all the time bc u can go over a speed bump or some RR tracks, 1.4 is just fine for me

if u drop like 3 inches, then make sure u get camber kit or the tires will look like //----\\
and it is bad for the tires
and also get some shocks if u drop that much...the stock shocks are bad already and i dont think it can handle the car drop even more

slammed is for show. sometimes tucked wheels look like $hit usually when the nose of the car is long.
7th gen looks good with tucked wheels.
i'm a daily driver so 1" is good for me. plus i have skirts and i want to keep them.

Dropped = Show
Stock Height = Everyday driving over sh!tty streets with potholes and speedbumps and uneven ground in general.
I myself do alot of driving with my Civic and would never consider dropping it. But that's just my situation.

well i live in Toronto, Canada and we do get a lot of snow in winter, so if i drop too much then i will be shovering snow for the government for free....and it costs money for the shop to raise the car in winter then get the alignment
If sparks dont fly, your TOO high. The skys not the limit, the ground is. I have a 2 1/8" drop in front and 2" drop in rear. I would lower the rear more, but I carry people around all the time so the car would be even lower. I have plans on a full custom air bag suspesion. I wanna lay the kit on the ground. If I cant, I am gonna cut something so I can. I want it HAMMERED. And yes, it is a daily driver. My car probably has more miles on it than yours. I got about 42,000 on mine. Thats a dropped daily driver for ya. Stop being scared and DROP IT!!!!
