Coilovers or springs?
Coilovers or springs?
I'm just wondering what is better for our cars, coil overs or springs? I getting my car lowered on friday and I ordered springs.... but I having second thoughts. I'm just look for the style not for racing or anything, just everyday driving. so let me hear it.

I think your safe with your springs. I would get coils only if you plan on racing or showing the car. For everyday driving and looks, your springs should be fine. What springs did you end up getting?
the shock itself will be the biggest difference when the car is a day driver. As far as springs vs. coilovers, I would go with coilovers cause this way you can raise your car, for myself I would prefer this so in the winter I can re-raise my car. Weight wise, springs are a little bit lighter.

here is the thing coils do give a better ride and the real thing is the shocks but coils are better b/c if a cop pulls you over for having your ride to low you will have to raise your car (TEMPORARY) and with coils you can do it in about 10 min and with springs it will be MUCH longer

i would recommend you to go with springs...cause that's more comfortable..
and your ride will be lower... you should go with neuspeed race...
match it with 16" it's tuck in...nice

springs unless you want a harsh ride.
i got coilovers and im very disapointed in them, i dont know if the morons who did the works did somthing wrong but the car has never been the same. on flat ground it feels like im going over speed bumps. i could not go over 20 mph with out my a$$ coming off of the seat and almost hitting the ceiling. im looking in to springs, any info and ill get back at yah..

Hey I've bought some coil over after reading your comments on springs or coil overs....i'll let you know how is the ride in some days )))
For sure the ride will be bouncing a little....but for me, that's the price to pay for being lowered.....no???
