2005 Civic Hybrid Front Struts

Hi All,

Anyone know if there is a difference regarding front strut install between a hybrid and non-hybrid 2005 civic? I have the shop manual and it does not seem to have any hybrid-related quirks.

This video is useful, but it is a non-hybrid vehicle. I'd like to save myself a few hundred dollars and do this myself!

Many thanks in advance.

Re: 2005 Civic Hybrid Front Struts

The physical replacement procedure is the same. Nothing different as far as the work is concerned.
Remove, replace, don't kill yourself with the spring. Alignment after it's back together. Simple.

If you are asking whether or not the struts themselves are the same, I'd say to look up each car in a parts catalog and compare part numbers.
