I recently installed new front struts and strut mounts, and rear struts on our 2003 Civic EX Coupe. The ride was terribly rough before the new struts, and still rough after the new install. The car has 260,000 miles and I don't know how the new struts didn't improve the ride of the car. The car has all stock suspension. Anybody else experienced this before?

Stock suspension is decently stiff.
I upgraded to softer springs and the ride quality improved dramatically.

Also, your tires also play an huge roll in ride comfort.
High tire pressure will increase road harshness, and bad quality tires will also result in a rough ride.

no clue besides another part of suspension having trouble or tires (as mentioned above)
