Strange knocking

Strange knocking
For the last week and a half or so I've been hearing a loud knocking noise coming from the passenger side front wheel. At first I thought it was some sort of bushing that needed to replaced but now I'm not so sure. Looking around on the forum a bit I found some others with similar problems but nothing really helped. I'm replacing my struts soon so maybe that will solve the problem? If anyone has any suggestions or things I should check or replace please help. The noise is very annoying.
