Rejin267 is an unknown quantity at this point
lowering the ride

how does one lower their ride and yet avoid all the downsides of the car being closer to the ground? for example speed bumps and all that fun stuff.

Re: lowering the ride

To get BOTH worlds?

Air bags.

Or hydraulics.

You could shorten the roof a few inches: Drive it under the trailer of a semi. That should complete "the lowered look".

Re: lowering the ride

it all depends how low the car is if its slammed yo then you will have to avoid obstacles like speed bumps or drive in at an angle very slowly.

Re: lowering the ride

Has anybody raised a Civic an inch or two? Helpful in snow I would think. Lowering is pointless for a main car IMO. All it does is reduce drivability (yeah maybe better cornering). Go to larger wheels/tires to fill up the wheel well, but maybe leave room if you ever need snow chains.

Yup hydraulics/bags.
