KYB strut vs. oem one

Hi all,

I got a front left leaking strut on my 2001 civic coupe. What do you suggest to replace it?
Honda oem one or aftermarket one (say KYB)? I just want a smooth ride.

Thanks.

Re: KYB strut vs. oem one

well oem will be the smoothest for sure, but if you dont mind a firmer and more stable ride with less bounce, tokico hp is excellent and will last at least 5 yrs, possibly longer since they are valved for lowered cars too. oems are too mushy and they sag easily, and most oem replacement parts like monroe are garbage.
