just installed skunk2 pro s full coil overs on my 03 civic si. i set them to about 3/4 inch lower than factory heighth. the front coil overs have a helper spring on top of main coil spring that you can basically compress by hand. car rides stiff in back and slightly bouncy in front. has anybody tried removing the helper springs? is this safe? will it affect traction and cornering ? also car would pull which ever way you last turned.

I called skunk2 and talked to their tech and told him my problem. even though instructions say to use the helper springs, he said not to on the civic si. i removed them and reset to heighth and the car now handles awesome and goes straight without pull. anyone else had this experience?

My front suspension is shot. I need new everything (strut, spring, pads) pretty much the assembly and the place I took it to wants to charge 700 plus labor and 465 plus labor for rear springs and shocks do you know where I can get them cheaper?
