Droping the ride


so i got my wheels put on today (motegi sx7 with nitto tires 215/40/17) so now i want to drop the ride...i want to get some springs but i only wanna drop it about an inch 1.5 inchs max what r the best springs to go with? (i also have a full size spare and subs in the back) Joined: Sep 2002

prokit is good but barely 1 inch drop. denpends on the roads and if you have lip kit. i still scrape my bumper sometimes on driveways with prokit and lip kit. cant imagine going any lower.

how far off the ground is it? i might have to wait til spring because around here the winter time can be unpredicitable....might just stick with the lip kit for now

only got one sticker on my car viper security...no stickers for my em2....one more question before you guys dropped your car did it feel weird driving on bigger tires? i feel like i m about to go offroading sometimes....makes me feel unstable at times

no, cause stock shocks cant handle lower than stock spring height. you will just be bouncing all over cause the shocks dont work right.

and I'm with Gear.. I cant imagine being any lower w/ the lipkit lol

j/k, but.... Stay away from stickers though, they really weigh you down!
