looking into lowering 02 coupe...

Alright, i'm new around here as you can see. I have been reading around for awhile though. Seems like a great forum. I have an 02 civic lx coupe.

Off to the questions:
1. How far can you lower an em2 without needing a camber kit? or is recomended for any drop? I'm not looking to slam it just close the gap because i have nice wheel/tires on the way. around an inch or maybe a little more is ok cuz cops are ****** about lowered hondas in nh.

2. When lowering is it ok to do just springs (looking at eibach pro). Or should you do the works....struts ect....?

I'm not extremely familiar with the em2 suspension scene, so i'm looking for any advice you guys have for me.

Re: looking into lowering 02 coupe...

My car is lowered about 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 and I don thave a camber kit, I recomend it cause it just took out my wheel bearings and CV's, no issues in the rear, as of yet, but Im sure itll start soon. You can do springs as logn as your stock struts are in goos shape, but, personally, id cough up the extra cash and get struts as well. Just be sure to pos tpics when you do it!!!
