tokico hp

hey guys!!!

This is what's going on, i got installed my suspension(tokico blue hp, eibach sportline, spc camber kit f/r) about 3 weeks ago. Today, i was looking at the front shocks and i notice like a white grease around the base of the shock that holds the spring. So, my questions are: Has anyone of you seen this before?, is it normal? because my suspension feels pretty good so far.

Anyway I'm gonna get it check by a mechanic.

Re: tokico hp

mine had some of that on them when i first got them. (tokico blues) and i'm pretty sure it was just lubrication, most likely white lithium to grease the strut

Re: tokico hp

thanks guys, i was looking at them carefully and i think it is for lubrication. because, i was researching and i found out that the grease that comes from inside the shock is black. So, i concluded that the grease i see is just for lubrication because it is white. plus, everything feels pretty good while driving.

Re: tokico hp

where did you find the info that the shock contained black grease? the shock contains oil so i assume a leaking shock will show residue on the shock body?
