Eibach Sportlines
Eibach Sportlines
Will my buddy's '02 EX Sportlines fit my '03 EX? He says it's a 1.5" front drop and 2" rear, is that correct?
He needs my '03 EX springs to complete the sale. How much should I give him for the Sportlines (about a year old) with trade?
I was leaning toward Tokico Blues, anyone have any other shocks they feel very strongly about?
I'm also worried that the springs will settle more to the drivers side due to my fat *** bein in it all the time (340 lbs, lol)...is that gonna be an issue?
Thanks

Re: Eibach Sportlines
WITH a trade id give him $60. Camber brand shouldnt shouldnt matter, as long as you dont slam it. Go ahead and buy a used spc, which show up often in the used parts sales on this site. Their excellent used. They should only drop 1.5" all around, and he may have a system in thte back making a bigger drop. Just make sure that their both coupes!
Re: Eibach Sportlines
yea theyll work...im sure its a 1.5" front and 1.7" rear
id jus get the eibach camber bolts for the rear i think theyre bout 40 bucks, and dont worry bout the front, the camber will be negative but not bad enuff to cause problems

Re: Eibach Sportlines
someone correct me if im wrong, but i dont think there is a difference between sedan and coupe for springs, and as far as camber kit, there are 4 or 5 brands u can use: megan racing, k-sport, ingalls, spc, skunk 2, personally, id go with the spc, its the best bang for the buck and lasts the longest, ive had ingalls as well, and they tend to squeak with inclimate weather, u can get them from a number of sites
dezod racing

summitracing.com

if u want to find the other brands be my guest, but go spc, ull be much happier

Re: Eibach Sportlines
i dont think sportlines drop 1.5 they usually drop more from what i have seen.
Its Eibach which is quality, so once he kept them in good condition you should be fine. And for a camber kit from what i have been reading on the forums spc is good but after a while they tend to fail (i forgot how do a search and you will find it) i heard ingalls with rubber is good. The polyurethane for n e camber kit will need frequent lubing or else... SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Eibach Sportlines
yes, they will fit. your weight really wont matter at all. the drop for the sportlines is a 1.4 all around. they look great, too.....i had them on mine at one point.
Re: Eibach Sportlines
For those of you that have the Sportlines, did the springs have the Eibach logon on them? I got a set from a guy here but they do not have the Eibach logo, they just have the part number.

Re: Eibach Sportlines
I got the prokit on mines. Rides really good. Wish it was lower though. The back is a little lower. Think imma get the sportline and slap them in the front and keep the prokit in the back. Maybe they'll even out. lol. btw i had to get cambers for rears for the prokit. the left rear has neg cam.
