Help need suggestions
sup guys, i noticed the other day as i was trying to loosen one of the bolts for the front strut tower that it would just keep turning. Meaning it would not tighten or loosen. just wondering if you guys have any suggestions for removing this bolt(14mm) thanks in advance guys

Are you talking about the one in the center of your strut? The one in the center of the other three bolts? Typically you need an impact wrench to get that bad boy off. Since the shaft will just spin and spin with a normal wrench or ratchet, an impact will 'pop' it off and allow it to loosen. They can be a real bitch. We had to cut two of them off a Saturn yesterday.

If he is talking about the one in the center of the three, that would be the actual strut rod. TO loosen that bolt use a wrench with an allen in the center of the shaft. The allen will keep it from spinning.

its one of the three bolts around the center one. i have an aftermarket strut bar that i want to remove, and one of the nuts supporting the strut just wont losen or tighten. thanks guys

Re: Help need suggestions
Might be. That mount is only $36 from Majestic Honda. I'm fairly certain those studs are welded on so you probably can't just replace the bolt. Put a normal box wrench on it first to see if it's just the nut spinning or the whole thing. If its just the nut, you can get a splitter, take it off, and then rethread it. Would save you the work of dropping the entire strut to replace the mounting plate.
